INACTIVE-Industry Overview: Environmental and Safety Issues
This course is intended for all audiences and introduces the student to the ratemaking process natural gas companies follow to set rates charged to customers. Topics covered include regulatory agencies, cost of compliance/non-compliance, land, air & water issues and environmental myths and realities.
As a result of taking this course, the student should learn the following:
* Gas industry environmental record
* Key environmental and safety regulations when constructing and operating facilities
* Consequences of failing to comply with regulations
