This course is intended for all audiences and introduces the student to the participants and key players in the natural gas industry. Topics covered include production companies, pipelines, gas supply marketers, local distribution companies (LDC's), end users and trade associations.
As a result of taking this course, the student should learn the following:
* What natural gas is and how it is used
* Where Natural Gas is found and how big the market is
* What the historic and current prices of Natural Gas are and how gas is bought and sold
* Who the industry participants are and the general role they perform
